a. Mail ballot elections shall be conducted as nearly as practicable in conformity with the requirements under this Code for the delivery and processing of early ballots, with the following exceptions:

1. The word "MAIL" shall be printed or stamped on the front of the official mail ballot and the word "MAIL", rather than "EARLY", shall be used, as appropriate, on all election materials and for all procedures.

2. The City Clerk shall mail notice of the mail ballot election to all persons whose name appears in the City of Phoenix Register of Voters no later than ninety days before the date of the election.

3. The City Clerk shall mail an official mail ballot to each person whose name appears in the City of Phoenix Register of Voters.

b. The City Clerk shall cause to be printed a sufficient number of ballots for voting in a mail ballot election. (Ord. No. G-5390, § 1, 2009)
