When an election is conducted pursuant to Section 12-1700, the Election Officials authorized to conduct the election at the polling places shall include the City Clerk; the judges, inspectors, and clerks appointed by the City Council to conduct the election; the Election Board and clerks appointed by the political subdivision to conduct the election; and other persons authorized by the City Clerk or the political subdivision to conduct the election.
