Sec. 12-502. Authority of Inspector; administering oaths.
This section is included in your selections.
a. The Inspector shall be Chairman of the Election Board and may:
1. Administer all oaths required in the election; and
2. Appoint Judges and Clerks if, at the time of the opening of the polls, any Judge or Clerk fails to appear, or if, during the election, any Judge or Clerk ceases to act.
b. Any member of the Election Board may administer and certify all required oaths.
c. The Inspector for the voting center shall exercise authority over all election and simulated election related activities at the voting center. (Ord. No. G-5390, § 1, 2009; Ord. No. G-5560, § 1, 2010)
