A. The Chairperson shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the approval of the Council. The Chairperson shall serve for one year.

B. The Commission may organize committees and adopt administrative rules and procedures to accomplish its purpose.

C. A quorum shall be necessary for conducting a meeting. A quorum shall consist of a majority of serving members. The business of the Commission shall be transacted by a majority vote of members present.

D. All meetings shall be held, and notices and agenda shall be posted, in compliance with the Arizona Open Meeting Law, Section 38-431 et seq., Arizona Revised Statutes. The minutes of Commission proceedings shall be kept and filed in accordance with applicable laws dealing with public records. Robert’s Rules of Order shall govern meeting procedure. (Ord.
