A. There is hereby created a Complete Streets Advisory Board, hereinafter called "the Board." The Board will provide the City Council with annual reports and updates on its activities.

B. The Board will consist of 11 members. The membership will be composed of a representative nominated by each of the council districts and the Mayor’s office, representing community stakeholders such as pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users, youth, seniors, people with disabilities, business, the City of Phoenix Development Advisory Board and other advocacy groups as relevant. The Board will also include two at-large members, selected by the Office of the Mayor.

C. The Board will also include eight nonvoting members which will include the Street Transportation Department Director or his designee and one representative each from the following departments: Public Transit, Planning and Development, Neighborhood Services, Water Services, Police, Fire and Community and Economic Development. The members of the Board will serve without salary or compensation.

D. The Street Transportation Department will furnish secretarial services for the Board. (Ord. No. G-5937, 2014)
