A. The members of the Board shall be appointed within 90 days of adoption of this article by the Mayor and City Council for a term of two years, except that the initial term for those members appointed by an even-numbered district shall be three years.

B. The absence of any member from three consecutive regular meetings of the Board shall render any such member subject to immediate removal from office. Removal shall be at the discretion of the City Council.

C. Persons to fill vacancies for the remainder of an unexpired term shall be nominated by the council district which made the initial nomination, and shall be approved by the City Council. (Ord. No. G-5937, 2014)
