A. The City Manager shall direct the recruitment for the Director with the assistance of Human Resources or other entity designated by the City Manager.

B. The Director shall serve at the pleasure of the City Manager. The City Manager may take any personnel action, including administrative leave or termination, if determined in the best interests of the City, in the City Manager’s sole discretion. (Ord. No. G-6851, § 1, 2021)
