A. The City Manager or the Parks and Recreation Director or the Director of the Police Department shall be authorized to direct that a park, playground or recreational area be closed for a period not to exceed seven days to all persons not authorized to be therein, when an emergency situation exists which requires for the protection of public health or safety that the premises be closed.

B. It shall be unlawful for an unauthorized person to enter into or fail to vacate, a City park, playground or recreational area when adequate notice of emergency closure has been given. (Ord.
