A. In order to prohibit the disturbance of the public peace and welfare, it shall be unlawful for the City or a private waste disposal company to collect or remove or to cause, permit, facilitate, aid, or abet the collection or removal of solid waste, green organics, recyclables or household hazardous waste between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. if the collection point or container location is within 200 feet of any residential dwelling unit unless reasonable alternative accommodations are approved by the Director.

B. For purposes of this section, private waste disposal company means any entity other than the City, whether commercial, nonprofit, or otherwise, collecting solid waste, green organics, recyclables or household hazardous waste.
