All rates and service charges are due and payable when rendered. Payment must be received by the due date printed on the bill. If payment is not received by the due date, the account is considered delinquent and subject to a late fee of three percent per month assessed on the delinquent amount. The next monthly billing invoice will indicate the past due amount, all late fees, and the current amount due. In addition to the late fees, a delinquent account is subject to discontinuance of solid waste service for nonpayment. A notice of nonpayment will be mailed giving the date that the solid waste service will be discontinued. If the amount identified in the notice of nonpayment is not paid prior to the scheduled discontinuance date of the solid waste service, the solid waste service will be discontinued. (Ord.
