A person is guilty of a misdemeanor as provided in this chapter if they:

A. In any way interfere with a Department representative in the discharge of their duties, either in the tapping of any sewer pipe, main, or lateral belonging to the City, or the inspection, cleaning, laying, repair, maintenance, or connection of any such pipe, main, or lateral;

B. Dig up, or cause to be dug up, any street or alley in the City for the purpose of connecting with the sewer system of the City without first obtaining a permit from the Director, or who, having a permit, digs up any portion of any street or alley of the City for the purpose of connecting with the sewer system of the City and fails or neglects to return the street or alley to its original condition; or

C. Maliciously or willfully break, damage, destroy, uncover, deface, or tamper with any structure, appurtenance, or equipment that is a part of the POTW. (Ord. No. G-1935, § 2; Ord. No. G-2649, § 2; Ord. No. G-5444, § 3, 2009; Ord. No. G-6740, § 1, 2020)
