A. It shall be the duty of Planning and Development Department to examine all preliminary plats of the subdivisions for compliance with the applicable ordinances of the City of Phoenix.

B. A fee as set forth in Appendix A.2 of the City Code shall be paid to the Planning and Development Department prior to review of any proposed subdivision or partitioning or division into two or three parts of any lot or parcel of land which is not deemed to be a subdivision under Section 32-3 of this chapter.
