A. All subscribers have the right to continue receiving cable services, during the term of the license as long as their financial and other obligations to the licensee are honored.

B. On termination of the license, the licensee must cooperate with the City to ensure continuity of cable services to all subscribers for a period not to exceed 30 days. That period may be extended by agreement between the City and licensee. During the extended period that it operates the cable system, the licensee will be entitled to the related revenue.

C. If the licensee fails to operate the cable system for 96 consecutive hours without prior approval of the City or without cause, the City may, at its option, operate the cable system or designate an operator until such time as the licensee restores cable services to the standards required by its license or a new permanent operator is selected. If the City fulfills this obligation for a licensee, the licensee will reimburse the City for all reasonable costs or damages that are the result of the licensee’s failure to perform. (Ord. No. G-6034, 2015)
