A. The Director of the Police Department and the City Clerk or any of their duly authorized agents may enter in a lawful manner and during business hours the premises in which amusements regulated pursuant to this Chapter are being conducted, and in so doing may attend, witness, visit, and investigate any and all of the performances, exhibitions, amusements, or attractions on the premises. In addition, the Director of the Police Department, the City Clerk, or any of their duly authorized agents may inspect, in a lawful manner and during business hours, the portion open to the public of buildings in which amusements regulated pursuant to this Chapter are conducted to determine whether or not there exist any violations of this Chapter.

B. The City Clerk or the Director of the Police Department may request any other department in the City to make an investigation to determine whether or not amusements are being operated in compliance with the Phoenix City Code or other applicable law.
