Sec. 35-1. Finding of necessity.

The Council finds that there are slum or blighted areas existing within the corporate limits of the City and that the redevelopment of such area or areas is necessary in the interest of the public health, morals and welfare of the residents of the City. (Code 1962, § 33-1)
