A. The provisions of this chapter are the terms and conditions under which the City provides water service to customers.

B. The Department will charge and collect from any person who violates this chapter the full amount of the City’s economic loss caused by the violation.

C. In addition to any other sanction available under this article, the Director will suspend water service to any property owned or used by a person who violates any provision of this chapter, including a provision requiring payment of water charges, rates, and fees. The Director will provide notice of any discontinuation of water service as provided by Section 37-88(B). If water service is suspended under this section, the water service will not be restored until the person has paid to the City all penalties, applicable fees and deposits, and compensation for the City’s economic loss.
