The provisions of this chapter are for the benefit of the customers of water in the City and for the protection of the City’s public water supply system. Enforcement of the provisions of this chapter may not be intentionally ignored by any City official or employee. When strict enforcement of any provision could result in a gross injustice on a customer, the Director may order a suspension of the provision for that particular case. (Ord. No. G-6741, § 2 (Exh.
