Sec. 12-906. Return of official early ballot to City Clerk.
a. After marking the official early ballot, the voter shall seal the ballot inside the return envelope provided by the City Clerk. The voter shall affirm and sign the affidavit on the envelope.
b. The official early ballot will be processed only if:
1. It is mailed or delivered to the City Clerk in the signed affidavit envelope so that it is received by the City Clerk no later than 7:00 p.m. on the date of the election;
2. It is deposited at any City early voting location or voting center no later than 7:00 p.m. on the date of the election; or
3. A Maricopa County election is being held on the same date as the City election and the ballot is deposited with the Election Board at a Maricopa County polling place by 7:00 p.m. that day. (Ord. No. G-5390, § 1, 2009)
