Preliminary approval constitutes authorization for the subdivider to proceed with preparation of the final plat and the engineering plans and specifications for public improvements. Preliminary approval, in itself, does not ensure final acceptance of streets for dedication or continuation of existing zoning requirements for the tract or its environs. Preliminary approval is based upon the following terms:

A. The basic conditions under which preliminary approval of the preliminary plat is granted will not be changed without concurrence of both the Subdivision Committee and the developer prior to expiration date.

B. Approval is valid for a period of 24 months from date of the Department’s action. (Ord. No. G-3588, § 2; Ord. No. G-5707, 2012)
